Technology Solutions for Urban Sustainability and Resiliency

Smart Cities represent the global vanguard communities addressing the growing resiliency pressures of climate, energy, water, food and mobility. This Challenge brings together vetted solutions to accelerate smart and sustainable development of urban communities world-wide. Co-located with the Defense Energy Summit, this Challenge leverages the U.S. Department of Defense innovation needs and funding programs with parallel needs of the modern smart city.

Call for City Innovations:

Submit your technology innovations and best practices for review by a committee of global development partners. Selected applicants will be invited to present and showcase their technology during the Summit in Austin TX, (November 11-13), to a committee of global cities, investment and corporate leaders. There is no fee to submit your innovation.


Program Guidelines:

All selected innovations will deliver a presentation to the cities development committee and will receive a $500 discount on a display-fee at the Innovation Showcase which includes one registration waiver. This showcase registration is required to confirm your participation in the Challenge program.
